stepped attenuator instead of L-Pad

did anyone build a "stepped attenuator" for Horns instead of L-Pad's?

"Stepped attenuator", no (although I think most earlier Altec crossovers had them) "fixed attenuator" yes. A couple of tries to get the right values and then you're done.
